Dark Knightingale

I have been a Nurse's Aide for five years, here in New York, (-Thus, the name "Dark Knightingale", + I Like "Batman" ;-)  )

I decided it was time for a change (again). As much time as I spend creating musical works, I decided that maybe I should put more effort into actually being IN the music business some. (I'll keep you posted there...) My first good change for January 2007 was to begin a page here at VOX, at the suggestion of a friend I knew in middle school. (-2009 will be different...!)

As a kid, I used to walk down the street playing my guitar as I walked. As I got older, I detailed cars for the Flori-duhhh local Rock radio station for a living and for occasional tickets or backstage passes during the day, and played the guitar on the beach in Florida for the tourists, or locals, who came by at night and on the weekends. -And, also in front of a few local concerts!!!

Later, I found myself in Las Vegas where I soon became friends with an AM radio DJ at KLAV who liked my music enough to allow it to be aired a couple of times on his radio show. We also created a radio ad with two guitars and two voice parts for their midnight Blues show. (-I may have to post a copy of this here someday...)

 I have a MAJOR dislike for "Rap" (crap), and I don't see how "running your mouth over a beat" could EVER be considered as "music", but different strokes for different folks I guess. However, I have heard some rapper's music which would have been GREAT to me if they just didn't "rap" all over it.

I prefer Hard Rock, Soft Rock, Classic Rock, Most good Metal (not that screaming, undecipherable thrash and/or "crazy stuff", or Death Metal), Some Pop, Some Country and some Mozart. I'm TOTALLY in to movies of all kinds. I prefer Action/Adventure, Horror, some Drama, Comedy, Cartoons and some Documentaries, and SOME other...

I don't know what this next year might have in store for me, but I hope it's BETTER than good for a change. -I'm waaay PAST due...
