On December 31st, 2008, ALL clocks will be set forward one second in an event known as a "leap-second".
For more info on this occasional "leap", go to yahoo news.
There's a couple of cool things fixin' to happen around here!!!
Very soon, I will be posting a piece a music, created by a fellow VOXER with things added by me. This only the third time I've done an online musical collaboration, and only the second time with a fellow VOXER. -This VOXER will remain unnamed until I finish my parts and post the finished recording.
Also coming soon: Having been less-than-excited about any movie releases since either Batman: The Dark Knight and Saw 5, I wasn't really excited about anything else upcoming until just recently. -Wait 'till you get a taste of some of the creeps they have in store for us in this next coming year...!
There's 10 on this list that MIGht be worth checking out this next year...!
1) Resident Evil: Degeneration December 30th, 2008
I've been a big fan of the movie series, starring Milla Jovovich, and I tried a couple of the videogames. However, this "part four" was done entirely in CGI (Computer Generated Images), it will not pick up where part three left off, nor will it star the lovely and talented Milla Jovovich. -Which I consider to be Resident Evil suicide, or just plain evil. -One of the two.
I will still check it out, and grudgingly add it to my DVD library, but I now look forward to a part five, starring the lovely Milla Jovovich and picking up where part three left off.
2) The Butterfly Effect III: Revelation January 9th, 2009
I have the first two on video and digitally, but I have only seen part one. -I ought to get busier, eh? ;-)
As of right now, all I can say is that I wish I could go back in time and redo a few things.
-Wouldn't we all, if we could?
3) My Bloody Valentine 3D January 16th, 2009
I have the original on video. -I don't know yet if this will be a remake, or a continuation of the story.
This is a sort of long post, so I'll have to post it in segments. -Somethings wrong with this damned internet today, so I can't post it all at once. Sorry!
Remember The Heroes!!!
Barack Obama is NOW our new President as of this coming January.
-I'm sure very few are truely surprised.
The only thing that really "bites me" is that Sarah Palin was good enough to routinely give EVERYONE in the state of Alaska $3,200 (yearly, I believe) in big oil money kickbacks.
Obama has (as of yet) given few peoples ANYWHERE ANYTHING but some-sort-of "word" that he will bring some sort-of change to the US. -He's DEFINATELY given my home NOTHING, as of yet.
My question is this:
In four years, will the US hate and talk bad about THIS President as they always continue to do about all the others we've had?
CONGRESS fixes the law here in the US.
-PRESIDENTS are NOTHING MORE than THEIR PUPPETS.
Prove me wrong.
Today, my brother and I went to a friends house to give him a "small hand" with his newly-rented place.
-He said he was home and ready for us, so we raced right over...
After our wonderful help, we raced back home for dinner...
What's On TV tonight...?
Serious thought, and remodeling, has gone in to the completion of "Some Things I've Said", and it's taking waaaay longer than I thought it ever would. -But it's working, k? -Thanks for your continued patience!
My dear friend Morningberryz is still getting a hard CD, + a few small extras when it's finally done, but it will be previewed here when it IS done, right here, so STAY TUNED, eh?
;-)
Here's "Envision" to hold you over for a minuet or two....
Enjoy!
-One of these two uploads will work for you....
1.
I have been looking forward to this release since the mere MENTION of "The Joker", at the end of "Batman Begins", and I have NO issue with their portrayal of "The Joker"... Much...
However, TOTALLY IGNORING the "original 4 "Batman Movies", Two-Face (Harvey Dent) is scarred-for-life differently than as it was portrayed in "Batman Forever". I expected better. I expected a bit different from the over-cooked 4 "original movies" in this Batman movie franchise, as in keeping with the presented story, rather than altering the "facts" presented in the original four movies. -Would have made for a SWEETER Box-Set (on DVD) I'm sure, than the confusion left to us in this different series' portrayal of our Hero, Batman.
(-I'm ALSO sure that original FANS of the Batman COMICS cringe at EVERY presentaion of a character that the other characters knew, and those we USED to know...)
According to the "original four Batman movies", Two-Face was burned IN COURT, and by acid thrown at him. -NOT outside of a warehouse, by flamed up gasoline on half his face
I DID like it when, near the beginning of the movie, they again gave us the "Scarecrow, as a "leave-off" from "Batman Begins", but not as much as I would have appreciated.
(SCARECROW ROCKED in "Batman Begins"!!!!!!!)
As a matter of fact, "Batman Begins" was TOTALLY BETTER, and better organized than the criminals they gave us here. I REALLY expected better from an intro of The Joker into this new series, and I'd expect BETTER in future Batman flix. I mean, really.
As for The Joker...
Heath Ledger's Joker WAS well played. -Oscar worthy? I think not, but very well done though.
Movie Makers. Please, try better to "stay with a story", and make them entertwine, as the comics did. I really expect better from any future Batman movies.
Stunts DON'T make the movie, the stories do. -Special effects ADD to the story, remember?
-Story FIRST, dudes, k?
"Batman Begins" was LEAPS AND BOUNDS better written than this LAZY part two.
Besides the lame "continuation" of this "Batman story", and besides the death of Heath Ledger...
THIS lame story didn't merit any Oscars, unless you want to give one to either Morgan Freeman or Christian Bale who BOTH maintained the integrity of what, and WHO Batman "was".
It is very sad that Heath Ledger lost his life from an overdose of his prescription meds, but this LAME "continuation" of the story does not merit him an Oscar. -Sorry dude.
ALL movie makers... WE NEED BETTER CONSISTANCY IN OUR STORIES, K?

Things are STILL a little messed up here. This is ALSO how I feel tonight:
3. Also,
I WON'T give up that easily....
-Stay Tuned...
Remember The Heroes!!!
Rockabye baby, on the tree tops...
-When the winds blow, the cradle will ROCK!!!
Hero (Nelson/Vans)
Oh... -I saw you hero.... -Zero? -Oh....
I saw you "hero"... -I saw you push them to the ground
-Imposter, schoolyard zero... -Who's going to catch you when you fall?
Windows of angels... -Doorways to endless shattered dreams
Unarmed, another sleepless night -Right now, we'll make it through the night
I saw you hero...! -That one who caught him when he fell
-They kicked, you picked him up like a saint.... -And, you're my hero tonight.
Windows of angels... -Doorways to endless shattered dreams
Unarmed, another sleepless night -I swear we'll make it through the night
(Solo) Yes, I saw you "hero"... -Zero? -Oh...
Windows of angels... -Doorways to endless shattered dreams
Alone, another sleepless night... -I know we'll make it through tonight
Windows of angels... -Doorways to endless shattered dreams
Alone, until you come with me... -We're going to make it through this night
