Why Yes! -Yes I AM Working Here...!
(-Darn computer... AGain...)
So, for the second try...I've spent the past couple weeks trying to write some more instrument parts for "Hero", using the first recording I posted here.
Yeah, I know. -I should have just started over, from scratch. But I just wanted to keep going, to see where it could go.
As you remember, the first recording I posted had Dan and I on guitar, and I added four voice parts. This recording started from there, and I added a 3rd guitar, a Bass Drum, A Snare Drum, and some Cymbals.
--Makes it sound a little more like a band now. -It still needs a Bass Guitar part, and eight bars of screaming Lead Guitar, right smack in the middle of it. -But I think it's getting there.
As usual, it's not perfect, but I hope you like it! -Tell me what YOU think of it!
Just last night, I sat down, cleaned my Strat and re-strung it. I let it sit for at least two days, allowing the strings to stretch naturally before I stretch them some. I plan to re-track everything from scratch again, and see if I can't clean it up some more.

Thanks for checking it out, and I'm glad you liked it! heh heh heh -I've yet to post a song that didn't have room for improvement! Once my new strings get stretched properly, I will be working to re-track everything.
Well, it's not a perfect recording... heh -It's sounds a little snowy even!
I'm glad you liked it! Dan doesn't like my new third guitar part. -He says it makes the song sound like a ballad, as if that was a bad thing...

-THANK you!!! I'm currently learning how to use VISTA (on my MUCH-AWAITED NEW COMPUTER, which I got last Saturday night...) But, more importantly, I'm learning how to remaster individual tracks in my new computer, and in new programs, which SHOULD tighten up the overall sound of this.
I WILL be re-tracking this, but right now, I'm learning to better use this computer mixer, to fine tune some things, and I want to see just how clean I can make this with my new programs.
AS usual, THANK YOU for your supportive, and kind comments, and KNOW, that the future is MUCH brighter than it is at this second. -But, I'm GETTING there!
