KNIGHTRAVEN: See You Tonight

KNIGHTRAVEN: See You Tonight
See You Tonight, by KNIGHTRAVEN. Oh yeah... -Yeah... -I really want to see you tonight. (Tonight..., Tonight..., Tonight.) 1) I could tell you a million things but, oh -Which way to do it...? 'Cause I find a million lies there, -Ooh, -I'm tryin' to elude it... It's high time we set things right... -And, it's got to be tonight..., -To look you deep in your eyes and say I'd really like to see you tonight. Cho:) Tonight..., Tonight.....................Tonight. (-I really wanna see you tonight) 2) I'm tangled, tied up inside each time I see your face... And old words spring up inside, but none that earn your grace... It's high time we set things right..., I've finally seen the light... And I've got to let you know right now... -I really want to see you tonight. (Cho: 2x's) 3) I could tell you a million dreams, but I know one would do it... And I know if you're by my side, it won't take much to make it... It's high time we made this right, and I'll try with all my might... And I'm going to let you know right now... -I'd really like to see you tonight. (Cho: 4x's) 4) I can feel there's something missing... -A piece that's torn away... And I'm tired of being denied, I've got to make a way... It's high time we made things right, so don't put up a fight... Take me within your arms and say I'm really glad to see you tonight. (Cho: 4x's) -I really wanna see ya... Lyrics: JNelson Music: JNelson/AOwcarz

Thanks for the 'invite' to listen again.
Sorry I don't get by as often just now, my computer's broken so I am sharing with my partner for now.

I do understand the "broken computer" thing... Mine's messed up every other week anymore. I'm just glad to know someone IS listening, and enjoying what I do. Granted, my postings aren't always noteworthy, but I like to think my music is. It's the one thing that's been constant in my life, and I don't know where I'd be without it.

I plan to keep my music online, and available to all for some time to come, so it will be there every time you look for it, and I hope it continues to be pleasing to all who decides to check it out!

Yesss!! With my broadband connection I get to hear all kinds of internet music :)

When I need a good escape from commercial music.

I'm glad to hear that you have broadband now!!! (-I know you've been waiting for a while...)

(smiles)

-It's nice to see my "group" listed in someone's listing of bands they've been checking out!!! I hope you found my music to be enjoyable!

[this is good]
Yep! I still like it! BTW... My teenage "punk" kids say that it's not too bad either! Teenage talk translated this means "hey, it's pretty good!"
I'm glad they enjoyed it! -Tell them to have ALL their friends to check it out!!!!
nice song, has a good summer vibe about it, somewhat reminiscent of Ask Me by The Smiths which is a good thing, only criticisms would be that the vocals are buried under the guitars and that there could be more variation

The video version has and extra voice and Bass that's not on this MP3, but I'll change that soon. It's funny... A friend of mine told me my music was too "orchestrated", and I should simplify... -That's why I did this.

I've honestly never listened to The Smiths, but I've heard of them and they're famous, so I'm sure that was a compliment!

Thank you very much for your review!

Hello

Really like the song.. cool lyrics and really nice melody.. very memorable :)

Thank you! It's the newest one I have done right now, and it's the cleanest of all of my current recordings. It is one of my favorites, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for taking the time to review it!

Again, this is a good strong song, but it's being let down by sound quality. That's either my computer, which I don't hold you responsible for or something at your end, but you may not be able to do anything about that either. When you get to the album deal, you'll get to re-record everything and I think then you'll have something very powerful. Good luck :-)

Thanks!

NONE of my recordings are anywhere NEAR perfect, but this is the cleanest one I have at this time. (It's likely NOT your computer) All three of these songs were done at home, on my (relatively) new Boss BR 900CD digital 8-track, but I'd got a little better with this machine when I was working on "See You Tonight". I'm hoping to make things MUCH more clean on my next CD, and I'm comfortably certain the next CD will be done right here at home. (Not to be a downer, just practical)

Judging by some of the reviews I've had in the last year, I could use a bit more practice in the studio... And they're right. -It USED to be something I never had to worry about... All I USED to have to do was create and perform my songs, now I have to master recordings as well. (rolls eyes -"Why can't we all have studio techs???") I'll get better at it.

Thank you for taking the time to review my songs!!! I hope you enjoyed them despite their current shortcomings. I'm working on better!!!

saw u on ronsons page so thought i would pop over....... was pleasantly surprised........ thanks for sharing.

i have the boss machine.......and i have only managed to record my guitar and my vocals......... not brilliantly i must say..... but you cant check out a couple of tracks on my page if you want where i used it...... good luck with learning how to use it..... i am still reading the manual...... bev xx

Well, thanks for "popping over"!!! I'm glad you enjoyed my music!!!

The BR 900CD had a few moments of confusion... I confess I was ready to sling it against the wall a couple of times after accidentally erasing improperly saved tracks I had slaved over..., But, it was lightyears ahead of the prehistoric 4-track cassette recorder I had been relying on, and I don't regret getting it.

I haven't used any of it's effects yet, 'cause I'd rather spend more time playing than reading & figuring out how to use everything (lazy me... -Well, not lazy, I just wish this was a paying gig!!!)

At any rate, I'm glad you enjoyed my music, and I'll certainly come give yours a listen.

Come on man you sure your not from Manchester England this could be from the boys back home its got the same feel.

I like it. Brings a tear to my eye.

Come on City!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he he he -Naw, I was born in Georgia, raised all over the USA, and am currently in New York... But, this DEFINATELY sounds like a compliment to me!!!!

I'm glad that you enjoyed this... It's my newest, and current favorite right now... ('Till I write another one that I like that is...) Play it a LOT, and play it LOUD!!!!

Thank you for your time and cool review!!!

Not sure I understand this, is it a joke..?????????
I did'nt intend to hurt your feelings its only that the overall sound is very poor,or there is something wrong with my computer but it sounds ok when i play other music,I'm only giving my honest opinion on what I am hearing,if you only want to hear 'nice' things said then you had better look in a more 'closed' society
I dont think you have the hang of the br900 yet,I cant even tell if the song is any good the production is so very poor
The reason I asked 'was this a joke' is because this is my first time on this site and I was.nt sure what kind of site it was ,there is nothing wrong with my eq etc..surely with the experience you appear to have had you MUST realize how poor that sound is,I also could'nt understand why people were making remarks like this is good,I am not saying you are'nt good only that the sound on these tracks is to put it bluntly diabolical,If you have recorded in the past I would love to hear it,you cant perform as long as you seem to have and not have something.....regards

Hey, I never claimed to have anything perfect here, but so far eight Vox people have enjoyed this imperfect recording, while just one did not. Hey, that's not bad at all!

-And this is only counting those who post here at Vox.

Feel free to listen to whatever is posted in my audio section!

I agree with you, there is too much nicey nicey going on. It is just a matter of either saying what you did like and also suggesting what could be improved.

the other alternative is to just not comment at all. Thats what /i do when /i hear, or I am assualted by so called music. The drivel I hear soemtimes beggers belief, yet that is the persons choice and probabl the honsest opinion of there music.

When you said about kissing arse that sure does go on. I do believe it is out of a musguided idea that the comments will hurt peoples feelings. Myself, the persons feelings are more important than the music always, so to advise or comment has to be applied with sensitivity and thougtfullness, thereby getting the point across but without destroying the person.

Soem of the music I hear is crap and I hate it, so I dont comment, I comment on the persons vox. More honest and compassionate.

You fat twat! as a description to soemone is being straight and not kissing arse, but it also serves no purpose in communication.

Bye.
